Horace McGuire was a great example of the best kind of human being and man of God. And I, along with everyone else, who knew him, will miss him greatly. I count it a privilege to have been able to call him my friend. God be with his family and comfort their hearts and souls, with the knowledge, that we will all be back together, when Jesus comes.

I am praying for your family. I thought so much of Horace and loved to hear him sing and enjoyed playing church softball together. He got me my first job as a young teenager running the printing press for Chandler Trailer in Little Rock. Lots of memories of times together at Plainview Baptist Church in Little Rock. May God bless and confort each of you.

I was so sad to hear about Mr. McGuire. I live down the road from him and when I came home I would always look for him outside. He always had a big smile and wave for me, it meant a lot at the end of a bad day. I will miss him. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.
