Adron Lines Yount, 91, of Little Rock passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2015. He was born October 30, 1923 in Pangburn to the late Charley and Ida Mae (Floyd) Yount.
He was a Navy WWII veteran and served in Pearl Harbor on the USS Idaho. Following his service, he worked as a carpenter for 68 years. He was a devoted member of River of Life Assembly of God Church in Mabelvale.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Ida Mae, four brothers Lestel, Norvel, O.C. and Daniel Yount and his son Aaron Yount.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Yount, son Danny Yount, sister Fern Mayor (Tom), Daughter in-law Darla Yount, five grandchildren, Danny Jr., David, Philip, Mark, and Chris Yount, eight great grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 20, 2015 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR. Reverend Tony Minick will officiate. Arrangements are with Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to the loss of your loved one.In the scriptures Job 14:14,15 and John 5:28, God promises that he will resurrect our loved ones in the near future .I hope that Jehovah , the God of comfort grant you peace.
