Alfred Wayne Pennington, age 76, was born March 22, 1938 in Crossett, Arkansas to parents Leonard & Helen Pennington. He passed away March 10, 2015. He was a resident of Marshall, AR.
Al is survived by his wife Roylene Pennington of Marshall; children: Charles Hamilton (Jackie) of Romance, AR; Debbie Hamilton & Carla Trouche of Broken, Arrow, OK; Mark Pennington of Arizona and Gina Miller of Jenks, OK; brothers: Robert (Lou) Pennington of Garland,Texas; Phil (Geoma) Pennington of Oologah,OK; sisters: Earline Emmitt of Owasso ,OK; Linda (Ray) Call of Collinsville, OK. and Debbie (David) Webb of Vera,OK. He will also be missed by numerous grandchildren, great- grand children, nieces and nephews, plus a host of friends.
Al served in the National Guard 1959-1960 and in the Army, 49th Infantry, from 1961-1962. He worked as a fireman in Duncanviile, TX; a police officer in Austin, TX; and a fireman in Kwajalein Island. Al Retired from security service in 1990. He loved to travel and fish and visit with friends and family.
Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 12. 2015 at the Roller Coffman funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2015 in the Roller-Coffman Chapel, officiated by Bros. Louis Sanders and Shirl Williams. Pallbearers will be: Danny Harmon, Craig Sanders, Phil Pennington, Chad Pennington, Mike Hawkins, and Mike Earwood. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall.
