Jimmy Burl O'Kelley, 69 of Barling, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Barling. He was born on September 19, 1945 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents Burl and Mildred ''Babe'' (Thornton) O'Kelley. He was the owner and operator of O'Kelley Electric Services Incorporated of Barling, a past member of IBEW Local 700 and National Electrical Contractors Association. Jimmy loved to travel, especially to Hoover Dam, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was proud of his family especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Burl and Mildred ''Babe'' (Thornton) O'Kelley.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Linda O'Kelley of Barling; two sons, Sean Michael O'Kelley and wife Cindy of Muldrow, Oklahoma and William Brandon O'Kelley and wife Bridgette of Lavaca, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Dalton, Mattie, Tommy, Bayley and Brooklynn O'Kelley; sister in law Pattye Ezell of Paris and nephew Shawn Ezell of Paris.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m, on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dalton O'Kelley, Bayley O'Kelley, Tommy O'Kelley, Shawn Ezell, Granger Ezell, Matthew Ezell and Billy Warnock.
Jim was one of the nicest and kindest men put on the face of this earth. He will be missed. There's an old song that says only the good die young and that fits Jim. Sending thoughts and prayers to his family.

I don't know if words can describe what Jim ment to me. Not only was he my brother in law for many years he was my buddy also.He was always so good to me I never ask much from him but was not ever told no. I am gonna miss him so much but he will be watching over me and sister as he did when he was with us. love you
