Ralph Edward Fields, age 92, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday,
February 25, 2015. He was born March 27, 1922, in Alpena, Arkansas, the son
of Clyde Albert and Audrey Belle (Raynor) Fields. Ralph was preceded in death by
his parents; his wife, Emma L. Fields; and his brothers-in-law, J.T. Flippo and Alvin Maynard.
Ralph attended Alpena Baptist Church. He was veteran from WWII. Ralph worked most of his life at Pippin Wholesale. On August 1, 1941, Ralph married Emma Cook. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and collecting coins.
Ralph is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Dianna Fields of Amarillo, Texas and Jim and Beverly Fields of Harrison; his daughter and her husband, Anna and Kenneth Davis, of Harrison; his sisters, Maxine Flippo of Harrison and Stella Maynard of California; his brothers and sister-in-law Omel and Pat Fields of Alpena, Arkansas and Leonard Fields of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Ralph is also survived by a dear friend, Carla Lane, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends throughout the community.
Visitation was Friday, February 27, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Batavia Assembly of God Church, with Bro. Tollie Sutterfield officiating.
Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were the grandsons and great-grandsons, Bruce Davis, Kevin Davis, Brandon Davis, Christian Davis, Jordan Davis, Tyler Baker, Grayson Davis.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Hillcrest Home and the staff of Pippin Wholesale.

I'm praying for comfort and peace for you all during this difficult time. Much comfort is found in knowing that he is rejoicing in heaven in a healthy body. I can only imagine the reunion he and Miss Emma are having! Thinking of you all.

God Bless all this family.. He was an amazing man and lived a long life. When ever you seen him always had a smile on his face and always was read to talk. The Lord will be with all of them as he has made his walk over to be another one of the Lords Angels. R.I.P mr Ralph.
