Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. May God hold you close and bring comfort in your sorrow.
My daughter, Amy, was a friend of AJ and Beth. My sympathy to the family.
AJ Hambuchen was truly one of the most powerful influences upon my adult life. He was a mentor, a friend, and a resource. When I became the director of the Faulkner County Museum, AJ was the treasurer. He taught me the basics of running a business, and along with Robert Tyler, offered me sound advice for more than a decade. I can truthfully say I loved him, and there is a hole in my heart. To say I will miss him is an understatement.
A.J. will always be remembered for his sincerity and offering a lending hand to others. He was a major part of the Hambuchen/Kordsmeier connection and he will be truly missed! Love to his family today and always.
Our sincere condolences to the Hambuchen family. Conway will miss A. J. !
Mary Beth & Family:
Vince & Maria offer our deepest sympathy to Mary Beth and the Hambuchen family. We have scheduled a Mass for the soul of A. J. on Feb.19 at 8;30 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Church in South Bend, IN.
I enjoyed working with A.J. when I served on the St. Joseph School Board and appreciated his insight, wisdom and many other valuable contributions.
May God's Grace be with you!
We have lost a very dear friend and will miss him greatly.
I am Joe & Lee Moll's daughter and I remember visiting with you all when we would come for our summer vacation. I am terribly sorry for your loss.
Beth & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of AJ's passing. We shall never forget his kindness and generosity toward us in our younger years of marriage. AJ was special, interesting to converse with...maybe it was because he was always interested in what was going on with his friends. We remember particularly his story of the trip to Germany, home of his ancestors.
I don't know if he ever told you, but we wound up with the bedroom suite that he had originally ordered for your new house. He said y'all had a little difference of opinion and that was alright. We loved him and will certainly miss him.
With deepest sympathy,
Tom & Wanda Stanton

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
Mr. A.J. will be missed in this world.
I was blessed to call him my friend.
Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers, especially to Beth, their children and his siblings. A. J. was a good man. And a nice man. Whenever something needed done for the glory of God or the good of others, he would be there, sharing his time, talent and treasure. His presence among us will be missed, but his legacy is secure. Requiescat in pace, old friend.
I knew A.J. to be a devout Christian and a tireless worker who supported a variety of causes.
I personally witnessed him lead several 4th Degree Knights on work parties at Subiaco Abbey. I was aware of the help he gave the Carmelite Sisters in Little Rock and Habitat for Humanity. I also recall many a Christmas when he oversaw the sale of poinsettias in a makeshift greenhouse he helped put up near the old After School Care home.
His energy and devotion to these and other causes will always be remembered.
Our deepest sympathy to the family. Karla, Ricky & Mitchell Beene
