Samantha Diane Rose, age 29, of Harrison, was born December 4, 1985, to Roger and Thelma (Brisco) Rose. Samantha passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015, at her home in Harrison. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Earl and Berniece Brisco and Carthal and Faye Rose.
Samantha's favorite pastime was spending time with her two young children, family, and friends. Having survived cancer, Samantha was an avid participant in cancer awareness programs, including Relay for Life, and was always looking for ways to help others.
Samantha is survived by her son, Dylan Scott Rose; her daughter, McKenna Rose Braswell; her sister, Jessica Crim and husband Levi, of Springfield, Missouri; her brother, James Rose, of Alpena; her mother, Thelma Rose, of Ozark, Missouri; her father, Roger Rose and his wife Tammy, of Alpena; her grandparents, Jack and Etta Riggs, of Harrison; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home Wednesday and Thursday, February 4th and 5th.
Graveside service was Friday, February 6, 2015, at Plumlee Cemetery, Compton, Arkansas, with Ricky Brisco officiating.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.

I am so sorry, Roger and Tammy. I remember meeting Samantha at church at Ridgeway. You have my deepest sympathies.
