Guy E. Luker Sr., 84, of Mayflower, Arkansas passed from this life on January 21, 2015. He was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on June 28, 1930 to the late Homer Earl and Dorothy Mae (Donaghey) Luker. Guy was a member of the Masonic Lodge and of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in North Little Rock.
He is survived by his two sons; Edward Luker, Eldon Luker Jr., daughter; Angela Luker, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister; Wanda Smith, three brothers; Kenneth Luker, Levi Luker, Jerry Luker, his beloved friend; Cindy Oaks, and numerous friends and other family members. Guy is also preceded in death by one brother; E.J. Luker and his son-in-law; Kevin Pitts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church at 16718 MacArthur Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118; with Pastor Terry Turner Officiating at 2:00 pm. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Roller McNutt Funeral Home Conway.
I wasn't notified of my fathers death until the funeral was over. I loved my father. I followed in his footsteps. He taught me to be an audiologist and aided me through the University of Arkansas. I miss my dad.
