Mr. James R.B. Griffith, 74 of Hartman, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 in Hartman. He was born October 20, 1940 in Clarksville, AR to Oscar and Susie (Estep) Griffith.
James served in the United States Air Force and retired from Clarksville Light and Water as a warehouse manager. He enjoyed woodworking, quilting and was a skilled carpenter.
Mr. Griffith is preceded in death by his parents, wife Arlene of 24 years, son Larry Martin, and brother, Kenneth Griffith. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Griffith of Altus, Ritta Martin Basu of Chicago, IL, Debbie Baxter of Low Gap; son, Nolan Martin of Rogers; brother, Vernon Griffith of Clarksville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 5:00-7:00p.m.at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m., Friday, January 9, 2015 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Kimrey officiating. Burial will follow in Oark Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
