Marsha Louise (Butler) Brown

of Vilonia, AR

August 20, 1956 - December 25, 2014

Marsha Louise (Butler) Brown, 58, of Holland, also known as ''Honey'' to the grands, went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2014, just in time for Jesus's birthday celebration.

She was born on August 20, 1956 in Richmond, CA but spent most of her life in Holland, AR. She graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1974. She worked whole-heartedly at Conway Human Development Center for 32 years. There she met her second family in the clients that became her kids, the staff that became her friends, and ''The Girls'' that became sisters.

To know Marsha was to love her. She gave so much love to all, especially her grandkids Tennyson and Hayden, who made her heart whole. She was the family photographer who loved to set the self timer and see what turned out. She was the family chef in training who would watch the Food channel and read the Food Network magazines all week to find the perfect recipes to try out for the family every Sunday when they'd meet at her house for lunch after church. She was a flower gardener who could make anything grow and couldn't stand to see flowers sit on a grave after a funeral because no one was there to enjoy them. She spent every day of life making a memory.

Waiting on her in Heaven was her husband, Ronnie ''Tex'' Brown, and her parents B. E. and Ruby (Chaney) Butler, as well as countless other loved ones.

Waiting to meet her someday in Heaven is her daughter Kristen (Chris) Barnett, son, Clay Brown, grandchildren, Tennyson Bey Barnett and Hayden Coal Brown, brother, Charles Henry Butler (Mary Jane), niece and nephew, Jamie and Matt Butler, and many other special friends she made through life's journey. Marsha was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church, Holland, AR, but had recently felt at home at LifeSong Baptist Church, Greenbrier, AR.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at LifeSong Baptist Church, with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway (501) 327-7727. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conway Human Development Center, 150 E. Seibenmorgan Road, Conway, AR 72032.

Kristen -- I just watched the Video Memorial, so touching and a reminder of what a wonderful and sweet woman Marsha is.

I have so many fond memories of us growing up together and spending weekends at each other's houses while our parents visited. Marsha was always good to all of us with the kindest heart and she will be missed dearly.

There really are no words, just lots of love and prayers for you, Clay and Marsha.

Was saddened to hear of the loss of your mom and my friend. Marsha had so many friends because she was such an outgoing, social, and friendly person herself. To know her was to love her. There isn't words to express feelings when something like this happens. The comfort we have is that a better life awaits for all of us who believe in Jesus Christ. I do so look forward to seeing her again in heaven with a whole host of others. My life is made better having her in it. Praying for you all.

Marsha and I have been best friends for 38 years. We laughed, we cried and had a lot of great times together. She was the most kind, considerate, compassionate and honest person I have ever known. Her children, Kristen and Clay, and her Grandbabies were her life. She always put them before herself. She will be greatly missed. Marsha,my friend, I know you are in heaven, healthy and whole with Jesus. I will always treasure our memories. I love you. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace.

Dear Family-Just want to say how much we appreciated Marsha..Marsha was one of those folks you could count on..No matter what it was or what you needed she was always there to see it thru to the end..She was that way at work and even in her time of sickness..No matter what it was she always fought the good fight and even in her times of being sick whenever I would see her she would give a big hug and try to smile when no doubt she was not feeling well..Last time Marsha and I spoke it was about heaven and how glorious it must be.Well, one thing is for sure..She is there and she knows how glorious it is..She always spoke of her family and those grand kids..Our prayers are with you all..
