We are so very sorry we could not be with you all today for Ms. Melba's funeral !!! Ms. Melba will always be in our hearts. We are so thankful God blessed our lives with her as a neighbor on Omega back in Camden. Shiloh and Ms. Melba had so much fun together on that front porch. Shiloh enjoyed Ms. Melba telling her jokes and the two of them singing silly songs together. When Shiloh was a little older, she really enjoyed riding her bicycle up and down Omega with Ms. Melba. It was great! They were good for each other!!! We are praying for you all, Love, Pam, Shiloh, and Albert

Mike I loved Melba so much and Aunt Nora was one of my favorite aunts. Melba hated to be called Red. She had such pretty hair and My brother -in law- Horace Hawley delighted in aggravating her about it.
I am sorry I can't be with you all at this time. Hope your health is on the mend.
Love to all

I'm so grateful for the years I knew Melba. She contributed so much to AETN through her volunteer efforts but was much more than a volunteer. She was family to us. Mike and Karin, Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry. I see your mom's face with her wonderful inviting smile.. She was so sweet to my mom and I think had a sincere friendship with her. I can hear her singing --a beautiful voice. Your mom was a gentle sweet spirit...These are the memories your mom left with me Thank you Melba.

Mike, Karin, Stan and Chris -

So very sorry to hear of this loss. I loved your mother and grandmother and so enjoyed spending time with her mostly at holidays out at Grandma and Grandpa's place. Her laugh was infectious and delight to be around. I'm not exaggerating when I say that she stands out as one of the most memorable people from my childhood. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike & family, I was so sorry to learn of Melba's passing. She was very accommodating in life as she volunteered at the Senior Center, AETN, AARP, and others. She was always will to help out anywhere that she could. She adored her son and grandchildren. Melba was a joy just to be around.
We all have fond memories of Melba, and I hope being able to share those can bring some comfort to her family.

Mike, Karin, Stan, and Chris, Albert, Shiloh, and I are saddened to hear the news about Ms. Melba. Life on Omega in Camden, AR was so good sharing our years with Mr. John and Ms. Melba! Ms. Melba loved Shiloh dearly and I treasure those memories!!! Ten years of FRIENDSHIP, love, laughter, jokes, singing, hugs, including one special "hunt" for the kids one summer day (remember that Stan and Chris?) --- oh, those years are priceless. God gave us a very special neighbor when he gave us Ms. Melba!!! We thank God for her life, the time she gave Shiloh, and all the happiness she shared with our family! She was a Grandmother to Shiloh. She even came to the high school softball fields to see Shiloh for a high school game there in Conway. We are keeping you all in our prayers at this time. Love, Albert, Pam, and Shiloh
