John Harold Stephens, 82, of Mayflower, passed away December 12, 2014. He was born June 27, 1932 to the late Roy and Lily Stephens. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Robert, Gene, and Billy Joe Stephens.
John was the owner and operator of John Stephens Trucking for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Desslea Stephens; daughter, Jane Cook (Dennis) of Conway; grandchildren, John Cook, Denise Cook and Jennifer Cook; great-grandchildren, Katie Martin and Chelsea Cook; sisters, Lena Friddle of CA, Alice Friddle of AR, Marilyn Sue Stephens of AR and Carolyn Hambright; brother, Romie Stephens of AR; also many loving nieces, nephews and other members and friends.
Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to John's family. He was such a sweet and kind person will miss his smile and good nature.
My prayers for Deslea & family. we all will miss this sweet guy. He hauled gravel for me for years & we had lots of talks about our family. I am proud he was my cousin.
