Marie... I just found out yesterday (December 8th) regarding Julius' passing. He was always... always the kind-hearted, giving individual that all of us came to know and love.
He coupled these qualities with his repeatedly sharp ability to do genealogical work.
Thank you Marie for spending so much of your time with him doing this great research.
He was THE man who located the gravesite of Hugh and Mary Griggs... our fourth Great Grandparents.
I tried for years to do so. Julius and you traveled to the Atlanta area and within days... was able to do what no one had ever done.
Thank you!
He will be surely missed!

Marie, Chuck, Mavis, and all the rest of Julius' family,
I am so saddened to learn of Julius passing. My sympathies go out to all of you. I didn't know Julius for very long, but he had the unique ability to make you feel like a long-time friend after only a short time. He reminded me so much of that generation of my own family. He had such a wonderful personality and sense of fun. He will be missed.
