I loved Mrs. McGehee! I learned so much from her, not just as a teacher but as a wonderful human being, and I know I'm just one of the many lives she's enriched over the years. She will be greatly missed, because I don't know of another person that could fill her color-coded Reeboks. All my love to her family at this sad time.
So sorry to hear about Linda passing! I know she has had a hard struggle for the last few years. She was a wonderful lady and I always enjoyed being around her. She always managed to make everyone feel smarter! She had a rare gift at making people dig to find their best! She was also so gracious and kind! I really missed her when she quit coming to church and stopped teaching the Sunday School class. You all as her family have been blessed to have her in your family. Cherish your memories. Prayers and hugs for each of you.
Linda, was a dear friend and wonderful teacher. It was Linda that showed me the secrets of teaching and how to make teaching the best career. She always said, It's the children that are important." Linda could turn any day into a good day. I always think of her when the new year begins, and keep her I bible close. When she retired she gave me her board of education and her bible, and advise on both. I remember the love she had for the students.
She always had a great pride for her children and grandchildren, and always was willing to share a picture. My prayers are with you during this time.
I am deeply saddened for the loss of Mrs. McGehee. She was known to many, and loved by all. You and your families are in my thoughts.
