I grew up in church with Ernie zimmerebner as a leader. My dad had great respect for him and talked of his faith in God often. As I grew in my faith, I grew to have respect for him as a christian also. He was a kind man and I will miss him. I am sorry for your loss.

Many fond memories of Ernie,Albert, and Johnnie ...my father was William Ernest Zimmerebner, and my brother Bill Jr, was in Air force same time as Ernie, as were my Husband and I..visited him in Lackland when we were stationed in Del Rio, Texas in 50's..he was a "cousin crush" when I was 10!

Ernie was a man of God, a great example of a christian man, Husband, Father and Grandfather. He instilled a lot of wisdom in me as I served at Saltillo Heights Baptist. I feel for the family as they mourn the loss of Ernie. He will be missed.
