I really hated to hear about Mickey’s passing. I knew Mickey when I was a kid back in the 1950’s. Mickey was in a band with my brother Foster McConnell. They called themselves the BopperTones. They really were pretty good. They all had aspirations of fame and fortune, but it never quite worked out. Mickey lived next door to us for several years on 52nd Street in NLR back in the sixties. He was a funny guy. He was a great guy. He was a real character. I last saw him at Foster’s funeral in May, 2010. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Heather, I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
