Guy Brooks, 70 of Ratcliff, Arkansas passed away on September 25, 2014 in Charleston. He was born on May 25, 1944 in Ratcliff, Arkansas to his parents Jasper ''Bit'' and Agnes (Tygart) Brooks. He was a truck driver for many years and he attended Paris First Assembly of God Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper ''Bit'' and Agnes (Tygart) Brooks.
He is survived by his son, David Brooks of Etna, Arkansas; a daughter Julie Vaughn of Charleston, Arkansas; two sisters Jackie Lewis of Jacksonville, Texas and Karen Garren of Knoxville, Arkansas; one brother Jerry Brooks of Scranton, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Allyx McCann, Jordan McCann, Seth McCann, Hadley Vaughn, Ashley Coughran, Amber Cooley, Paige Brooks, Conner Brooks, Cannon Brooks and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Caulksville Cemetery. Under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Seth McCann, Richard Lewis, Neal Wade, Jeff Duvall, Richard Whitecotton and Phillip Howard.
Honorary pallbearer will be Bernie Forst and Mike Franklin.

So Sorry Julie and David. Your dad was one of a kind, raised you kids as a single dad and you guys never wanted for anything he made sure of that. Prayers to all of you on the passing of your daddy.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Guy Brooks. He was a funny and friendly guy. He was family n we love our family. I pray for all of you that are left here that God will give you peace in the time of sorrow and know that he isn't hurting anymore. We used to go over to visit his mom and dad when we where growing up loved Agnes and Bit Agnes and my mom Jane Tygart Hickman where first cousins. We all had alot of fun together. God be with you all
For all the years I knew Guy, he was my brother-in-Law & friend. He was kind & willing to listen when I had a question, & there when I needed support.
He may be gone, but he won't be forgotten.
