Margaret Walton, 87, of West Memphis, AR passed away on September 23, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Walton; a son, Bill Walton; a daughter, Brenda Westmoreland; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and also by her parents, Grady and Myrtle Suggs.

Mrs. Walton is survived by her son, Gerald Walton of West Memphis; a daughter, Reba Hughes (Mike) of Manteno, IL; 8 grandchildren: Sandy Hamrick, Tracy Lee, Heather Chesney, Kelly Walton, Michelle Shannon, Marsha Brown, Stacy Judd and Val Lee; 20 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Ruth Mullin of Greenwood, MS; and 1 brother, Kenneth Suggs (Margie) of Natchez, MS.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2014 from 12:00-2:00pm at First Baptist Church in West Memphis with the funeral service beginning at 2:00pm.

Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in West Memphis or to EastArk Enterprises Sheltered Workshop.

It was such a treat to get to know Mrs. Walton while we were visiting with our dad. She and Gerald were another set of eyes and ears when dad wasn't doing well. We took her and Gerald's picture with us girls after dad passed away, We love that picture, it's a treasure. Gerald will continue to be in our prayers. Our heartfelt sympathies. Such a sweet lady.
