Walter ''Lloyd'' Williams, 83, of East End, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2014. He was born January 4, 1931 in Hackett, Arkansas to the late Walter Williams and Thelma Roper Williams. He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mildred Picklesimer Williams; his parents; two sisters, Lorene Lee and Bernice Hogan.
He is survived by son, David Lloyd Williams (Shannon) of East End; two grandchildren, Garrett and Grant Williams; sister, Elsie Francisco of New York and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with interment to follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the funeral home.
I was so saddened to learn of Lloyd's passing . You have my condolences. We lost mom last week as well. God's peace.

Sorry for your loss. I used to go to the 8:30 Service at church and would talk with Walter Williams. Of course I knew him before the 8:30 Service started and remember Mildred when she was alive. Your family will be in my prayers.
Lloyd was indeed a loving part of our family.
We will miss him terribly. We will keep David, Shannon, Garrett and Grant in our prayers.
