I my wonderful friend Meredith I so hate to see you have gone to be with The Lord. I just knew you were going to beat this cancer. I will miss having you do my mammogram every year. Ricky Meredith was always so sweet and a lot of fun to get to be around. I never knew she was your daughter. She was a precious person. I know the comfort of The Lord is with you and your family. So keep your eyes and heart open to Him. Love In Christ, Linda G. Williams an old Hulbert friend.

Finally Home" by Don Wryzten

"When engulfed by the terror of the tempestuous sea,
Unknown waves before you roll;
At the end of doubt and peril is eternity,
Though fear and conflict seize your soul.

But just think of stepping on shore-And finding it Heaven!
Of touching a hand-And finding it God's!
Of breathing new air-And finding it celestial!
Of waking up in glory-And finding it home!

When surrounded by the blackness of the darkest night,
O how lonely death can be;
At the end of this long tunnel is a shining light,
For death is swallowed up in victory!

But just think of stepping on shore-And finding it Heaven!
Of touching a hand-And finding it God's!
Of breathing new air-And finding it celestial!
Of waking up in glory-And finding it home!"

Dedicated to the memory of our precious niece Meredith McKay who just experienced all of this on July 25, 2014. As a human, I cannot help but feel excruciating pain for all her family and hundreds of friends, but as a like-believer, I know Meredith did step on that shore and found God's Hand and breathed new air! Praise God!! She is HOME! No one will ever hurt her again. We weep for her precious little boy, her mama and daddy & her brother & all the other family, but Meredith is HOME. Praise the name of Jesus.
