Raymond Johnson, age 87, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Johnson was born April 6, 1927 at Ardmore, Alabama to the late Dave Johnson and the late Cora Rose Johnson. He worked as a road grade operator for Phillips County for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Jewel Dean Fields Johnson; two stepd
aughters, Aline Turner (Wallace) of Walls, Mississippi and Brenda Powers (Jerry) of Memphis, Tennessee; step-grandchildren, Leslie Brokeshoulder, Bryan Turner, Julie Powers Manuel and Suzanne Simpson; step-great-grandchildren, Claire Turner, Erwin Turner, Samuel Turner, Bret Brokeshoulder, Jewell Brokeshoulder, Andrew Simpson and Jared Simpson; three sisters, Hortense, Gracie and Marie; and two brothers, Woodrow Johnson and Leemon Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Marlin Stanford; sisters, Florene, Eveline, Lina and Francis; and brothers, Elvin Johnson, Odell Johnson and Selvin Johnson.

A service for Raymond Johnson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Lucien Webster, Johnny Brokeshoulder, Bret Brokeshoulder, Johnny Turner, Michael Devers and Jerry Powers.
