Anna Sue Merritt, 67, of Bono, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, in her home. She was born December 21, 1946 in Paragould to James Arthur and Tina Robertson Kirby. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing and caring for her grandchildren. She was a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ.
Preceding Anna in death were her parents and a brother, James Thomas Kirby.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Merritt of the home; a son, Curtis Merritt of Jonesboro; a daughter, Dana (Larry) Russell of Bono; four grandchildren, Cody Russell, Tommy Russell, Drake Merritt and Darah Merritt; a great grandson, Anthony Russell; a brother, Doyle Kirby; four sisters, Verna Lee Chailland, Dorthy Hulvey, Linda Collins and Carolita Montgomery.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:00am 11:00am in the chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. Following visitation the service will be at 11:00am with Kenneth Gossett officiating. Burial will be at Herman Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Drake Merritt, Cody Russell, Tommy Russell, Larry Russell, Riley Lewis and Warner Calhoun.
