Myrtice H. Berry, age 83, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Helena, Arkansas. Mrs. Berry was born March 23, 1931 at Blackton, Arkansas to the late Lewis Burton Hollowell and the late Doris Lofton Hollowell.
She is survived by four sons, Jerry Berry (Donna) of Bryant, Arkansas, Reverend Joe Berry (Mary) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Randy Berry (Sheila) of Stonewall, Louisiana, and Mark Berry (Pat) of Sheridan, Arkansas; one daughter, Cathy Johnston (Larry) of West Helena; ten grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Norma Wood of Hempsted, North Carolina and Kathleen Drollinger of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, Harold Hollowell of St. Pete, Florida; and adopted family members, Brookie and Jody Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Reverend Denver Berry; her parents; and a grandson, David Berry.
A service for Myrtice Berry will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014 at West Acres Baptist Church in West Helena. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Marvell Cemetery in Marvell, Arkansas. Reverend Dale Gansman and Reverend Joe Berry will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. What a sweet lady she was. I have many fond memories of her and your family. I know as a Christian you will find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord and beside your dad once again. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you! Karen

To all Berry family, so sorry for the loss of your mother. I know what you guys are going thru as mom has only been gone 5 months and I really miss her. So glad that we stopped and seen her in March, have always enjoyed being around Aunt Myrtice and Uncle Den. You guys have our deepest sympathy, she will be missed by many people. Loved her very much.

My heart goes out to each of you at this most difficult time. Losing our Mama's is one of the hardest times of our lives. But all of you have comfort and peace in knowing that Mrs. Berry is at Rest in Her Lord Jesus Christ and she has her angel wings, her crown and her mansion. She has also gotten to experience looking in Jesus face and hearing him welcome her Home. She is with Mr. Denver again too....She was truly a sweetheart. Sorry to hear of the passing Mrs. Berry. She was a very dear and sweet lady and will be missed. Enjoyed knowing her. She treated me as one of her own as I was growing up and hanging around Cathy.

It was a great pleasure to know Mrs.Berry ,we were in the same Sunday school class .she was a gentle soul that loved her Lord Jesus .and she could be very bold about her belief in her God .She was so precious,she was loved and will be greatly missed .see you one day on those golden streets.

What a wonderful Aunt she was. She was a wonderful influence on my life. She could make you smile when you were sad. She also made wonderful chocolate gravy. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
