of Bryant, AR
November 3, 1927 - June 13, 2014
Martha Jean Rhoads, 86, of Bryant, left this earth on June 13, 2014, to be with her Lord and Savior, and her favorite person, James Loaid (Dusty) Rhoads.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Loaid (Dusty) Rhoads; her parents, Arba and Mabel Bauer; her brother, Arba Bauer, Jr.; and sister, Bobbye Stone.
She is survived by her three sons and their families: Michael (Belinda) Rhoads, David (Elizabeth) Rhoads, and Don (Miracle) Rhoads; six grandchildren: Jeff (Amy) Rhoads, Jason (Angie) Rhoads, Sarah Rhoads, Justin Rhoads, Jarryd Fleming (Megan) Rhoads, and Jordan Rhoads; four great-grandchildren: Lilyan Rhoads, Alexa Rhoads, Logan Rhoads, and Myah Fleming; and a host of other family and friends.
She will be remembered by all for her unshakable trust in her Savior. She took every opportunity to witness to others - whether on the street, at Wal-Mart, or in the hospital. She greeted everyone with a smile, introduced herself, and started asking questions. By the time she left, she probably knew someone you both knew. If she got the chance, you would leave with a pair of hand-knitted slippers to keep your feet warm! She touched lives from coast to coast and all the way to Alaska with her knitting and crocheting.
Her sons and their families want you to celebrate her life with the same enthusiasm she had.

I just wanted you to know I will never forget the many kindnesses your Mother did for my sister, Mary Hoover. They knew each other at GSBC in SS class. When my sister was at Good Shepard and even after she wen to a nursing home in Waco, TX. I talked to her several times as she would call to check on Mary. Mary went to Jesus in March( the last time I talked to Jean) and I know they are having a great reunion in Heaven!Prayers are with your family..
Mike & Belinda,
Just to let you know you are in our Thoughts & Prayers. May God give you strength and courage at this time. I was so glad that I got to meet and know her.
Love to you and your Family

To the Family of Jean Rhoads
Your Mother was such a sweet Godly lady, always had such a sweet smile and willing heart to serve the Lord. She was greatly loved by those of us at Geyer Springs and as her neighbor in WestPointe.
May God comfort your hearts today and bless you with endearing memories that your hearts will always treasure. With Sympathy and Prayers
Adelle Shemwell
You were my other mother. You are already missed. You set a good example for me as a mother in law. You also set a good example as a child of God and I know you are celebrating in Heaven now. Love you much.
