Kenneth Cravens, 74 of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on May 27, 2014 in Paris, Arkansas. He was born on April 4, 1940 in New Blaine to his parents Almer and Hallie (Wise) Cravens. He was retired from Con-Agra in Russellville where he worked for 35 years and has volunteered for the last five years at the Booneville Human Development Center. He was a member of Pioneer Memorial Methodist Church in New Blaine.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Almer and Hallie (Wise) Cravens.
He is survived by his two sisters, Neola White of Kingsland, Texas and Norma Day of Van Buren, Arkansas and three brothers, Keith Cravens of Delaware, Arkansas, Cletus Cravens of Subiaco, Arkansas and Jerry Cravens of New Blaine, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Pioneer Memorial Methodist Church in New Blaine.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Judy Hall. Burial will follow in Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Fontaine, Josh Lohman, Brian Cravens, David Crain, Johnny Foster and Jim Welch.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Fontaine, Jeff Cravens, Sammy Hicks, Mike Pullen, Mark Johnson, Jay Welch, Matthew Brown, Dale Lohman, Sam Irvin, Jim Lipe, Gary Lipe and Clay Bean.

Alan & I were so sorry to hear of Kenneth's passing. I always enjoyed being around him. He was such a sweet man. He always had a smile even when he felt bad. He will be missed by many.

I have so many good memories of Kenneth and all the Cravens bunch. Will always remember him as Santa Clause at Pioneer Memorial Christmas program. Still have a picture of him as santa with my youngest, now 30 yrs old on his lap when he was little. He will be missed so much.

I can remember when I was little Kenneth would carry me out to see the horses and cows. It would be super hot and he would still do it with a smile. He did the same for my kids as well. One of the nicest guys I have ever been around. He will be truly missed.

Such sad news to hear. I was going through some old pictures a couple of weeks ago and found a picture inside the church of Kenneth dressed as Santa and holding Logan as a baby. That picture will be cherished, I assure you. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, Kenneth doesn't need them anymore!!
