I am so fortunate to have been able to work with Lela and know her as my friend. She was a fiery spirit and the kindest person to everyone who met her. I will so miss the laughter and fun times she shared with her adult education family. She is going to be forever missed! But what a celebration in heaven is occuring right now!

This is a very, very sad day for me. One which I have dreaded since the 1960's. Our prayers are with you guys.

Lela was a great lady & truly one of the greatest generation. I shall greatly miss her. Down w/ 2 broke hips & broke shoulder, can't drive yet. Will be w/ you in thought during the trip to Atkins.
