Juanita Morphis Turner, 78, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Place. She was born December 1, 1935 in Weiner to the late James Allie and Lennie Lois Shelton Martin. Juanita was a nurse's aide with The Area Agency on Aging and a member of South Caraway Baptist Church. She loved fishing.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Robert Lee Morphis and John Turner; three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her four sons, Roger (Janette) Morphis of Jonesboro, Denny (Debbie) Morphis of Walnut Ridge, Shane (Diane) Morphis of Jonesboro, and Barry (Phyllis) Morphis of Jonesboro; two daughters, Rhonda (Len) Nicholas of Bono and Janine Loyd of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren, Anthony and Aaron Morphis, Tonya Nicholas, Erika Rodriguez, Brandi Martin, Brandon Morphis, Kerenza Bryant and Mary Ann Morphis; and twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.

Chapel services will be 10 am Saturday at the funeral home with Marion Stringer and Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery in Weiner.

Anthony Morphis, Aaron Morphis, Brandon Morphis, Jimmy Bryant, Tony Sullins, and Harmon Rhine will serve as pallbearers.

Lasting memorials can be made to the Walker Cemetery, in care of the Simmons Bank of Weiner.

God called another Angel home to his arms . We will miss her terribly and know she is in a better place at peace with no more suffering. We are praying for all of you even though we can't be there with you. We will miss and love Aunt Juanita.
