To all the family of Dr. Charles, Please accept my most heartfelt condolences for your loss.
I am the late Maude White's daughter and when I was growing up, I had one statement whenever I was sick: "If I'm sick enough to go to the doctor, I'm sick enough to go to Dr. Charles! This often involved driving 60 miles on icy roads in the winter as we wound through the foothills of Notheast Arkansas from Hardy to Batesville. But at the end of that trip was Dr. Charles, the best doctor I've ever known. How blessed we all were to have him in our lives.
God bless you all as you grieve his loss.
Rachel and Dr. David, I was saddened to hear of Dr. Charles passing and wanted to show our belated respects to a gentleman who was a pillar of this community and the medical profession. I can honestly say Dr. Charles had a positive effect on my in my youth and I thank him for bringing me into this world. May God Bless.
