When we moved to Marion in 1974, Floyd had worked on our new home with the plumbing and electricity. We needed him to come back for some reason and I remember talking with him. He realized that we knew his former Coach (Jackson) who had moved to Osceola. Then, a few years later, he became an employee of Marion School District. I work at MSD also. He was always pleasant and really helped Mr. Altemus in those years with our needs. He also worked for Eddie Bigger at times. I came in contact with him through our work and did not know until Mr. Bigger told me that he was ill. I am sorry for your loss and wanted you to know we at the school have expressed our remembrances of Floyd today. There is little one can do when we experience a loss, but I know from my own life, it means so much to know others care. May you allow God to support you as you adjust to life with out Floyd and know there are those of us who are thinking about you.
