Thank you all for the comforting words you all shared with us. My heart is broken but I know he is whole and well again and I know someday I will be with him again. We shared a love that I never knew existed until I met him. His funny jokes, his laughter, his wit, his facial expressions I will never forget. There are no words on earth that I can say to compare to the love we had for each other. I thank GOD every day that he gave me 21 years together. Thank you friends of SP for showing your support. Gary loved all of you at SP. I want to say so much more about how I felt but like I said there isn't any words on earth that fits how we felt about each other. I love you is not even close.....He was loved by many. He was so kind and gentle and He was the perfect man. I miss you so much my darling. Peace till we meet again...I love you!

Oh how it blesses my heart to hear such kind words and fond memories you all have of my dad! He was truly the best father, husband and grandfather! My dad was my greatest supporter and showed me unconditional love even when I wasn't very lovable. For those who didn't know him, let me just say that he was the most gentle, kindest, most compassionate and funniest man you'd ever want to meet! My heart is broken for those of us who knew and loved him but I also am rejoicing that he is whole and well again after a year long struggle with cancer. Thank you again for sharing with me how he touched your life!

Mary,

You know I loved my pal. He was certainly special to me and I know a lot of others as well. He is living it up in heaven! Although we miss him so much - he is happy and whole! I've got fun, happy and even hilarious memories of that great guy. I'll never forget him. Love, Love, Love and peace to you Mary.

Love you,
Toni

I am going to miss you...you were such a great Dad to Lori. I saw such great love and patience as we were growing up. You were such a kind and loving soul and your daughter carries that legacy on. She loved you so much. Don't worry, I will be there for her...ALWAYS. Miss you already!

A great man and a great friend. I am a better person for knowing him. The jokes we shared flew past many people, but we would laugh and carry on like school kids. His laugh was so contagious, I can't count the times we laughed till we cried. I am filled with a great sadness at his passing.
He was a man, take him, for all in all I shall not met his like again.

I love and miss you dad. There is a hole in my heart now and it will take a while to mend. But I rest assured that you are in heaven walking and talking with Jesus. I wish we had gotten closer before you go sick but these last few months you were more of a dad to me than my own father. You will always be in my heart in mind.
