Vera Harvison Lewis, 94, of Jasper, formerly of Sulphur Rock, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at a hospital in Harrison.
She was born in Sulphur Rock, on November 17, 1919 and was the daughter of Dan Monroe and Ethel (Boling) Harvison.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are three sons: Jim Lewis of Tennessee, Dan Lewis of Florida, and Claude Lewis of Jasper, AR; nine grandchildren: Jeff Lewis, Michele Robison, Emily Maupin, Pamela Adams, Dan Albert Lewis Jr., Becky Weston, Cynthia Mitchell, Jureasa Johnson, and Jennifer Nutter; twenty-one great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Leona Ray Russell of Jacksonville, AR, Katherine Smart of Harrisburg, AR and Lillian Phillips of Jonesboro, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Lewis; and a daughter, Loretta Welch.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Harvison Cemetery near Sulphur Rock with Jim Johnston officiating.
There will not be a visitation.
Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
