Leon was the first relative of Jim's I ever met. He drove all the way from Kellogg Iowa to Conway, AR just to meet me to see if I was "ok" for Jim to marry. He gave us his blessing after I cooked him dinner and told us not to let anyone come between us. We have laughed about that first meal many times and I have cherished that blessing and tried hard to keep my promise to him to take care of his Nephew. We will miss you Leon.

I will miss Leon, he was always my buddy. I still remember my Camaro breaking down on the highway and he had to get out and help push it, then the cops came and we laughed all the way back to Oakwood. He was a great guy and friend and will always have a special place in my heart. My sincere sympathy's to Jack and Doris. I hope you remember me. I was the old Activity Director at Oakwood. Rest in peace leon
