Lenola J. ''Toni'' Poff, 89, of Desha, Arkansas died Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born December 29, 1924, in McHue, Arkansas, the daughter of Robert Henry Hankins and Nina Sullivan Hankins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hershel Poff; two sisters, Mary Fifi Hankins and Kathleen Worthen; and two brothers, Charles Hankins and C. Zane Hankins.

She was a homemaker who helped her husband on the farm and was an excellent cook. She was a strong-willed, big hearted person and her family meant everything to her. She was a Methodist and had lived in Desha 63 years.

She is survived by one son, Phillip Poff and his wife, Brenda of Desha; one daughter, Mitzi Hargan and her husband, John of Desha; one brother, Bobby Hankins and his wife, Phyllis of Jonesboro; three sisters-in-law, Judith Hankins Douglas of Jacksonville, Varna Poff and Linda Clark, both of Batesville; two grandchildren, Lynn Poff of Desha and Amanda Abbott of Boston, Massachusetts. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Aaron Poff, William Poff and Grace Poff all of Desha and Oliver Abbott of Boston.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Desha United Methodist Church with James Wheeler and Roger Franks officiating.

Burial will be in Alderbrook Cemetery at Desha under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Poff, Dave Rinkenberger, Ed Hager, Charlie Morris, Gary Tucker and Doug Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Harold Talburt, David Mitchell, James Harbin, Darla Sharp, Cassy Murray, Carrie McIntosh and Jan Smith.

Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
