of Rogers, AR
March 20, 2014
Betty Jo Dial, age 77, of Rogers, formerly of West Helena, passed from this earth on the first day of Spring March 20th, 2014 in the same graceful manner in which she lived her life.
Betty Jo stood her ground against a formidable opponent and battled courageously in order to have "just a little more time" with her family. She was determined to leave this world when she felt her family was prepared and when that was done she made her exit on the day of the year synonymous with renewal and rebirth. Betty spent many years in service to her family and community serving on the West Helena City Council as well as the Board of HRMC. Her later years were spent being a doting Grammy to not only Luke and Caroline, but also to Darren, Jordan, Courtland and Garrett.
Betty Jo was preceded in death by her parents Luke and Cleo Ellenburg and husband Tommy Dial. She is survived by her son Chuck (Paige) Dial of Rogers, grandchildren Luke and Caroline Dial, her constant companion and golf buddy Tom Cole, son Charlie and a host of friends.
Graveside memorial services will be held 1:00pm Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena (870) 572-2571.
