Eva Mae (Sublett) Wooley, 89, of Vilonia, Arkansas fulfilled her destiny to meet Jesus on March 9, 2014. She is survived by her children Jerry Wooley (Jo Ellen), Jim Wooley (Judy), Johnny Wooley, Jana Barnett (Lewis) all of Vilonia, AR and Judy Foster (Stan) of Paragould, AR, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, brothers, Sherman Sublett (Helen), Vernon Sublett (Juanita), Elbert Sublett (Johnnie), Raymond Sublett (Emma Jean), and sisters, Pauline Stewart (Robert), and Thelma Roberts with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Luster O. Wooley, parents Jesse and Zora Sublett and a brother, Esker Sublett.
Eva was a charter member of Belmont Chapel Church in Vilonia. She was 1942 graduate of Centerville High School. Eva was a virtuous Godly mother and Mamaw who lived daily for Jesus. She cherished her children and grandchildren instilling in their hearts many favorite bible stories and hymns. She will be remembered as a short-order cook for her grandchildren, sense of humor and always putting others first. She treasured visits from family, friends and neighbors. Eva was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, Matt, Mark and Luke Foster of Paragould, Jacob Wooley of Fayetteville, Justin, Jacob, Jason, Josh and Jake Wooley of Vilonia. Honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters, Jennifer Wooley of Conway, Jordyn and Jalyn Barnett of Vilonia.and great grandsons, Jaren Wooley and Kylar Foster of Paragould, , and Jace Wooley of Vilonia.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Belmont Chapel on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with Bro. Johnny Wooley officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Belmont Chapel, 394 Hwy 107 S, Vilonia, AR 72173.
A special thanks to her caregivers, Melissa, Candace, Marion and Donna who took such great care of our mom.
