Hilda Ruth (Bauer) Pintado, 83 of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on January 29, 2014 in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was born on February, 27, 1930 in Scranton to her parents, Pete and Mary (Schouweiler) Bauer. She worked for over eighteen years in the Infirmary at the Subiaco Abbey and was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Scranton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Bauer; husband, Castor Pintado; sisters, Marie Bauer and Rose Marie Chan and one son in law, Gerald Dalton.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Dalton of Chicago, Illinois and Linda Cueva of Chicago, Illinoiis; sons, James Pintado and wife Mary of Scranton and Joseph Pintado and wife Debbie of Scranton; sister, Lucille Williamson of Clarksville; twelve grandchildren, Lindsey Rogers, Layton Walker, Jamie McCoy, Heather McCoy, Jerry Dalton, Brendan Dalton, Corey Pintado, Becca Pintado, Cobey Pintado, Conner Pintado, Jason Cueva, Melody Cueva and numerous great-grandchildren.

Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Scranton.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Scranton officiated by Fr. Josely Kalathil I.M.S.. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.


Pallbearers will be Cobey Pintado, Corey Pintado, Jim Ahne, Gerald Neumeier,
Ernie Mellon and Jamie McCoy

I'm so sorry for your loss! It's times like these we need comfort. God's word can soothe our hearts and minds. The Bible says at Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." We look to God through Jesus and his Kingdom to do this. My wife and I hope you find comfort as you endure your loss.
