Dear Jean, Patty and I have been keeping you in our prayers these last few months and will continue to do so. We both loved Uncle Marky, as mom called him. We didn't get to spend much time with him in order to know him better but hearing mom talk about him and how much she loved him was all we needed to know about the man. He will be missed and he was definitely loved.

I'm going to miss you Marky. You were always so thoughtful of everyone. I remember that you used to drive over 200 miles to see mom. Mother thought that there was no one like you. Even though I'm 3 years older I still remember that you had the prettiest red hair. You were always ready to lend a helping hand to help other people. You're going to be missed very much by Jean and the rest of your family.
Love you always, your sis, Ruth.

I'm so sorry for your loss! It's times like these we need comfort. God's word can soothe our hearts and minds. The Bible says at Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." We look to God through Jesus and his Kingdom to do this. My wife and I hope you find comfort as you endure your loss.

It was a privilege to know Mark ... always pleasant and kind, with a gentle smile and genuine warmth. Always upbeat!! He had such interesting stories along with great recipe tips and interest in antiques. He finished his race with a strong spirit. Our prayers are with you, Jean & family.

Uncle Marcus will be sorely missed by all who knew him. We were so happy that he was able to come to California for my mom Ruth's 90 the birthday. We have very fond memories of all the times we were together and we"ll always think of him as such a warm 'southern gentleman'. God bless you Jean and your family
