Sylvan Schulte, 86 of Magazine, Arkansas passed away on November 23, 2013 in Paris. He was born on May 28, 1927 in New Blaine to his parents, Clem and Annie (Stumpf) Schulte. He was a retiree of Reynolds Metals where he worked as a Miner and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Annie Schulte; one grandson Brady Schulte and one granddaughter Jessie Sherriff.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Wanda Mae Schulte of Magazine; two daughters, Mikle Smith of Magazine, Tammy L. Sherriff of Magazine; two sons, Stephan A. Schulte of Magazine, Douglas M. Schulte of Little Rock; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service to follow starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris officiated by Fr. Eugene Luke O.S.B.. Burial will follow at St. Scholastica Catholic Cemetery in Shoal Creek under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
Pallbearers will be Aaron Schulte, Chad Schulte, Cliff Thompson, Barclay Grady, Mike Waggoner and Johnny Mikles.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Haley Grady, Meridith Thompson, Jolie Waggoner, Kristy Schulte, Shana Schulte, Hannah Barnard, Aidan Sherriff and Brady Schulte.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Sylvan. When I think of him, so many fun things come to mind. I never will forget the stories & jokes he always had to tell in his slow voice. My memory of how to catch a deer with a pull tab always comes to mind when I think of Sylvan. He always had that mischievous little grin. He certainly will be missed, but there are so many great memories of him. Many wishes of comfort to you all. I love you all
