of Conway, AR
April 26, 1990 - November 19, 2013
Jordan Douglas Rutherford, 23, of Conway passed from this life on November 19, 2013. He was born in Searcy, AR on April 26, 1990 to Steve and Rachel Rutherford. In High School he played saxophone in band and was an active member of Harlan Park Baptist Church through which he completed mission trips. Jordan studied psychology at the University of Central Arkansas and was a manager for Chick-Fil-A. He had a dry and quirky sense of humor with a snappy wit to match, and was known for a gigantic laugh so contagious that even people around him that didn't get the joke, still laughed along. Many say that they'd never laughed as hard as they did when around him.
Jordan is survived by his parents; Steve and Rachel Rutherford, two brothers; Joshua A. Rutherford (Jessica), Jacob C. Rutherford, grandparents; Judy Robertson, Joe Robertson, Leda Pfleeger (Ed), Daniel Busch, Sammy Rutherford, Karen Rutherford, aunts and uncles; Joe Robertson (Kellie), April Robertson, Grant Ward, Samantha Rutherford, Brandon Rutherford, Keith McKinnon, Kristi McKinnon, close friends; Brittany Narretto, Kacy Forrester, Sarah Cowles, Haley Higdon, and many other friends at UCA and Chick-Fil-A.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Nicki Busch.
A Funeral Service will be held in his honor on Sunday, November 24, at 1:00pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with burial to follow at Sidon Cemetery in Rose Bud. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Saturday evening at the Funeral Home.

I was sorry to hear about Jordan's passing away. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time.
My heart is so heavy for your family. I can still see Josh and Jordan running in my front yard with Tyler, with their little sweaty faces and giggles. It always tickled them so, when I got them mixed up. I just pray for your family and that you will find comfort. Jordan touched so many lives and has left some precious memories.
I am so sorry to hear about Jordan. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm so sorry for your loss. When I would seen him at Chik fil A., he was always a blessing. My heart is broken for each one of you. God is the only one that can heal the pain we are having. May God Bless each and everyone of his family.
Rachael & Steve so sorry for your loss, you all are in our prayers.
Words cannot express the sadness I have for your family. I have many memories of Jordan in a variety of times in his life. I appreciate his and Josh's friendship with Clint. Jordan was such a great person and always friendly and respectful every time I saw him. You and your family are in my prayers for strength through this difficult time.
So-so sorry for the storm you are going through. I just pray Gods grace at this time of loss. I wanted to write this to the family since we will be out of town for the funeral. Praying for you all!

I am deeply sadden by this loss to your family. I am praying for your entire family at this time
Our most sincere apology for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. It seems like yesterday Jordan and Josh were bringing me a chocolate cake they had baked to be neighborly, and mowing our yard to help James. I will always remember these things.
