Elvera Ida ''Eva'' Strobel, 94 of Subiaco, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Subiaco. She was born on May 10, 1919 in Paris to her parents Wilfred and Mary (Elsken) Schneider. She was a retired dairy farmer and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and Mother's Society.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Mary Schneider and her husband Andrew Strobel.

Eva is survived by her three daughters, Phyllis C. Mayo of Scottsville, Texas, Evelyn A. Strobel of Yelm, Washington and Virginia R. Strobel of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sons, Ronald J. Strobel of Little Rock, Arkansas, Walter Q. Strobel of Subiaco, Arkansas and Joseph E. Strobel of New Hampshire; one sister, Louise Eckart of Subiaco, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Rosary service will be held at 7:45 p.m., on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at St. Benedict Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco officiated by Fr. Aaron Pirrera O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery in Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Strobel, Bret Mayo, Patrick Mayo, John West and Nick Dollar.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Strobel, Jerry Klaeger, Kenny Schneider, Tom Strobel and Billy Strobel.
