My heart goes out to Levita's family. We worked together and came into contact during national meetings and on rare visits to Anchorage. Levita's was always upbeat and very personable. She was very hospitable on my visit to Anchorage. May her memory be eternal.

To Stuart, Gary, Lita, Stu, Craig, Drew, Jenifer and Janis, Mrs. Cockman, Nita and all of Levita's beloved family, my prayers are that your happiest memories can help you through your saddest moments.
When I began my FAA career in 2004, Levita was one of the first to offer assistance and show me kindness. In the ensuing years, that never changed. We all could count on her to share a smile when we needed it. Since her retirement, I've deeply missed our daily lunches with stories of husbands, kids and pets. She especially loved Arkansas; "Home is where your mom is."
Please know that a long list of folks here share in your sadness.

To Levita's family, I will greatly miss Levita, we had some fun times, when we could not remember each others names at first, we decided each day we would use what ever name came to our minds, we had great fun with that one, I enjoyed her company, friendship, and thankful for the time we did have together, my only comfort in losing her for now, is that I will see her again, warmest wishes for you in your sorrow. My prayers are with you, I am someone whom Loved her, and will always be her friend. Sandy

Levita and I worked together from the very beginning of her FAA career. Over the years we faced adversities and triumphs together. Levita could always be counted upon to go the extra mile and stand with me no matter what the situation. She was very proud of being a union representative and there were countless times she stood in the gap to support her coworkers. She was proud of the things she was able to accomplish to help her brothers and sisters of the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists (PASS). I will miss the special relationship we had.

On behalf of myself and the Professional Aviation Safety Specialist (PASS Union) Alaska Chapter Secretary we are very sorry to hear of her passing. I had the opportunity to work with Levita prior to her retirement and she will be missed. Levita was a long standing member of the PASS Union and a Rep for many years. Our hearts go out to her family due to their loss.

I got to work w/Levita for the many years we were at FAA. She was always willing and able to provide assistance with project drawings. She always had a smile on her face. We enjoyed many conversations throughout the years. I now think of her as another angel looking down on all of us that were blessed to know her.

I have worked with Levita for a number of years at the FAA. We first met at a meeting in Miami Beach. It was a bad trip for her as the airline had lost her luggage. Through the whole process she kept a positive attitude towards everything and be able to focus on the meetings we attended. She will be missed.
