Donald Dean Smith, 61 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 26, 1951 in Paris to his parents Pete and Gloria Dean (Ashburn) Smith. He was a retired Toolpusher for Alexander Drilling and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Paris.
Donald is preceded in death by his father, Pete Smith and one brother Michael Smith.
Donald is survived by his mother, Gloria Dean Smith of Paris, Arkansas; sister Denice Bell of Oak Grove, Louisiana; brother, Craig Farrell of Paris, Arkansas and two uncles, Earl Roy Teeter and Carroll Teeter both of Midlothian, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at First Assembly of God Church in Paris officiated by Rev. Kenny Maness. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmie Boren, Douglas Smith, Craig Farrell, Richard Fimple, John David Smith and Dan Cummins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Smith Jr. and Paul Moore.
i knew don many years..sorry to hear he is gone..craig knows me..wish i could be there..my thoughts are with you all..michael t.
My prayers are with the family,, I will surely miss him ,,he was like a brother to me..
I will really miss Don. A great friend.
