Shelby Jean Turner Treadway, age 75, of Jonesboro passed away on
Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at NEA Hospital. She was born September 9, 1937 in Manila to Jimmy Cyril Turner, Sr. and Flora Carlene Chamness Turner. She was a retired photographer and of the Baptist belief.
Shelby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis Treadway; and a son, Steven Fletcher.
Survivors include four daughters, Vanessa Fletcher, Sherri Fletcher and Lisa Fletcher all of Jonesboro and Rebecca Fletcher-Moss of Brookland; four grandchildren, Shawn Fletcher, Jeffrey Moss, Joshua Moss and Shelby Smith; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Sharron McCamey of Brookland; and three brothers, Jimmy Turner, Jr., John Turner and Joe Turner all of Jonesboro.
Visitation will be Saturday 10-11:30 am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro. Graveside services will follow at Noon at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Terry Watson officiating.
Jeff Moss, Josh Moss, Shawn Fletcher, Jon Moss, Jimmy Turner, Jr., and Dalton Farmer will serve as pallbearers.
