Randall Jay Brown, age 75, of Benton, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant. He was born February 10, 1937 in Benton to the late John and Nina Brown. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Benton and a US Navy Veteran. He was a retired pipe fitter and was a member of the Plumbers and Fitters Union #155. He loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jacob Miller Brown.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Pauline ''Polly'' Ramsey Brown; one son, Randall J. Brown II of Benton; two daughters, Kay Stailey of Haskell and Pollyanna Wherry and husband Bill of Melissa, Texas; eight grandchildren, Emily Brown, Tiffany Roark, Cara Dawson, James Stailey Jr., Amber Wherry, Kevin Langley, Billy Wherry, and Nikki Wherry; a number of great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph D. Brown and wife Donna of Benton; three brother-in-laws, Paul Ramsey Jr., CL Butler, James Warford and wife June, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047). Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Fletcher, Jason Boyette, Ken Boyette, Bill Wherry, Kevin Langley, and Billy Wherry.
Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a local church or charity of your choice.

Randall was a good friend and Brother-n-Christ. He, David and I became very close in our years at Reynolds.
