I worked with Jean for many years. Although I didn't work in the same department as she did, we saw each other many times during working hours. What a pleasure to see her smiling face. I have many photos of her during our working years at Levi Strauss. I remember once while working at Levi, any employee with the word "Jean" in their name. no matter how it was spelled, got a free pair of Levi's. She was as proud of her free Levi's as I was. God Bless the family. You are in our prayers.

To The Family of Jean,

Please know I am thinking of Ms. Jean's family during this difficult time. I worked with her at Levi Strauss. She was a fine lady that dearly loved her family. I believe she was most proudest of being a wife and mother! She set a great example for being a virtuous woman. May God Bless You All!

My heart is so heavy for your loss of Mother and Grandmother and praying that God loving arms hold you extra tight during her home going. Jean and I grow up with one field between us, spent many Sunday afternoon playing, memories are so dear to me. also went to school at Sardis until the 5th grade and then to Bryant.Sorry I live so far away in times like this.

I remember her fondly I can't remember what year she came to Bryant from the Sardis school but because of alphabetical seating, I sat directly behind her in almost every class from elementary school through 12th grade. We were well acquainted and I liked her a lot during all those years. I was her Escort at one of the Homecoming celebrations and she was my date for the Football Banquet after which we went to the Midnight Preview picture show in Benton. I had to borrow my brother-in-law's car. I had a major crush on her at the time but I had no chance. Thomas Baxley was already in the picture. I talked with her briefly at the reunions she attended and she seemed to be the same nice girl I remembered from High School.

Jean and I worked together for 15ish years at Levi's. Both of us Quality Auditors, we worked closely together, breaked together and shared many lunchbreaks. When you work with someone that long you get to know them and their family. She loved you all so very much, showing off pictures and telling fun "grandkids stories". Jean was not just a coworker but a friend. Laughed with me, listened to my problems, gave me some good advise over the years. You do not forget people who have made an impact in your life. I know you all will miss her, but you were blessed to have had her. I have been praying for you all that God will comfort you and help you in this very difficult time.

Sincerely,
Judy Hughey
