Mrs. Dorothy Marie Cox, 77, of Osceola, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Osceola, AR. Born September 15, 1934 in Lake County, Tennessee to Benton and Bertha (Brown) Campbell; she was a member of Keiser First Baptist Church, a retired nurse's aide, active in Circle of Hope and loved taking trips.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years: Quitman ''Sonny'' Larry Cox, Sr., of the home; one son : Larry (Phyllis) Cox, Jr., Blytheville; one daughter: Rita Cox, Osceola; 1 granddaughter: Wendi (Robbie) Massey, Gosnell, AR; 2 great-grandchildren: Malachi and Dylan Massey; and one brother: Arthur Campbell, Pocahontas, AR. She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers: Wes, Doyle, Mark, Odie, and Johnny Campbell; and two sisters: Ernestine Franks and Mae Pugh.
