Irene Henderson, age 88, of St. Joe, Arkansas died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Bristol Pointe Health and Rehab Center in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born at Point Peter, Arkansas on October 24, 1923 to John Hunter and Rose (Perryman) Hunter.

Irene enjoyed quilting, working in her flowers and watching westerns.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Henderson; two brothers; and three sisters.

Irene was survived by her daughter, Shirley Turney of St. Joe; two grandsons, Randy Turney and wife Leanne and Rickey Turney and wife Denise, both of St. Joe; one granddaughter, Sheena McGraw and husband Alex of Harrison; two great grandsons, Heath Turney and Courtland Turney; three great granddaughters, Samantha White, Shaleena White and Kendall Turney; one great-great granddaughter, Allyssa White; one brother, Ross Hunter of St. Joe; and four sisters, Anice Taylor and Bonnie Wyatt, both of St. Joe, Cleo Milsap and Willa Dean Cornelius, both of Harrison; and one brother-in-law, Gene Henderson and wife Dorothy of St. Joe.

A private family viewing will be 12:00 till 2:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Love Cemetery in St. Joe, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Randy Turney, Rickey Turney, Heath Turney, Courtland Turney, Jimmy Wyatt and Harold Hendrix.
