Candice Lee Hopper, 65, of Osceola entered into rest Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in Blytheville. Born January 10, 1947 in Osceola to the late J.C. and Nora Bussey, she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Osceola. She worked as a secretary for Dr. James Hudson and Dr. Stephen Pirtle for many years. She is survived by her husband: Rex Hopper of Osceola; four children: Laura Kelley (Howard) of Gosnell, Lana Stovall (Craig) of Brannon, MS, Jason Hopper and Wesley Hopper (Pam) of Blytheville; seven grandchildren: Drew Kelley, Logan, Madelyn and Morgan Stovall, Reed and Cadey Hopper and Robert Hopper; two brothers: Larry Bussey of West Memphis and Thomas Bussey of Bartonville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild: Mackenzie Kelley.
I remember Candice from the mid 60's when we were in high school. We had such fun at the local dances.(so long ago).

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time. I have such fond memories of Candice and will miss her very much. Carole and I got to visit her once at the nursing home and at that time she was her fun, happy self.
