Tricia, Linda, Johnny - and family, I'm so sorry for the loss of sweet Aunt Dorothy, your beloved mother. I am heartbroken I could not attend the services for her but I hope you understand. I have so many wonderful memories of all of us growing up on 'the farm' and visiting with one another at each other's houses all the time. (What happened to the days where families use to do that?) I cherish those special memories and hold them dear to my heart. Your mom was a soft-spoken, gentle, kind Christian woman who loved her family beyond all measure. I had the privilege to be double cousins with her children - as she was my granddaddy's (Homer Tate) sister who was married to my father's (Ted Parnell) brother! What a big family we had! I could go on and on but will close now with my deepest personal condolences extended to the entire family. I hope you are comforted in the difficult days ahead knowing that your mom and Uncle Charlie are reunited again along with other loved ones who have passed. They are all having a big time with no more pain or sorrow - just happiness for all eternity. It makes the thought of heaven that much sweeter knowing our family circle will be unbroken and we'll all be together again some sweet day. Again, please know that I deeply regret I could not be there with you - but my thoughts and prayers were and will continue in the days ahead. I love you ALL very much.
