William Henry ''Bill'' Coburn, 67, of Osceola entered into rest Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Born March 29, 1944 in Wilson, AR to the late James and Lillie Coburn, he was a member of United Methodist Church in Osceola, Army Veteran and retired from Osceola School District after 25 years of teaching. He was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Veterans Foreign Wars and American Legion. He is survived by his wife Sharon Coburn; one son: Will Coburn, Jr. of Louisville, KY; two daughters: Lori Ann Coburn of Nashville, TN and Lisa Blair Coburn of Little Rock; one sister: Susie Coburn of Bassett; two brothers: John Coburn of Bassett and Charles Coburn of Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I began my teaching career teaching with Bill at middle school and loved him dearly. He helped me and encouraged me countless times through the years. He had such a good heart. I pray you be strengthened and comforted in the days to come in knowing what a great friend and educator he was. He was dearly loved by so many.

My condolences to the Coburn Family. Bill and I grew up together within a half a mile in Wilson. His memory will live on for many years through all the children he taught and helped on the road to adulthood.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. In the late 90's I worked at the Middle School with him. I was Fairley then. May God give the family comfort and peace.
